Martin Luther King!

I’m annoyed that my segment on Martin Luther King that I did in January, popped up with a cryptic error message and now it’s gone! Unbelievable. 🙁 I stated how important it is for us (black, white, pink, green or whatever) to be proud of our differences and embrace them because ultimately the bottom line is that we are all humans. Grief, happiness, yearning and love are universal emotions. We should all be braver and look past the barriers of melanin, wealth/poverty, “defectiveness” and probably most importantly, trust the experiences we are going through now, rather than whatever stereotype or fear that people say we should believe about ourselves or others. Now is all we have. Two seconds ago is still not now. The deep past is not now. The wide, golden future is not now. History is just memories and lessons, and the future is filled with hopes and goals of so many. But the only moment we can change is NOW! Like a needle over a vinyl record, we can only be at one spot at a time. But by being the best humans we can be right NOW, the future will improve and I believe Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream will indeed come true. Let’s be good humans!
