This year is winding down and in the process, has given me a lot to think about. There are loved ones that passed this year, and most left a hollow milestone in my life. There are friends who have faded away, not with any ill intent or anything, but just the busyness and chaos of our lives that has caused us to drift apart. There are certain changes in my body that tell me I’m not a spring chicken any more (and it really sucks!). Lots of closed, or closing chapters. I keep thinking this is what the end of a millennium should’ve felt like.
Well, enough of that cheery stuff, lol. I’m glad I am always optimistic about creativity, and stories in particular hold a place in my soul. So, I’m not going to give up. I’m going to keep trucking and keep writing, and hopefully soon, I’ll be able to share with you all. I wish you a happy and safe holiday season, and may you also take a moment to enjoy each moment and not take it for granted. You and the people you love won’t be in the same place, same time ever again, so let them know you care. 🙂
