This weekend is all about celebration and love. The Lunar New Year (Year of the Ox) brings with it a feeling of restarting from a position of strength and determination, of not letting ground slip as you take a stance. I am feeling stubborn as an ox! I feel determined to make this year different than the last, and I will need tenacity and focus to do so.
This weekend is also Valentine’s Day weekend, and I feel so much love in the air. I can practically inhale the promise of spring, of how love is unspoken, but yet a tangible dance of glances and motions that reveal how we feel. I’ve been so very lucky to be in love with my husband all these years and I’m glad there are still parts of our souls that we are still uncovering. Love is not a wind that moves unassisted from effortless heartfelt moments, but rather is also moved by courage, respect and trust.
So on that note, I wish you a lovely weekend filled with anticipation and blushes and kisses to make your heart skip several beats. And I also wish you the tenacity of an ox to hold on to your dreams moving forward.
